Portfolio Lead – United States

Portfolio Lead

We are seeking a visionary and commercially minded Portfolio Lead to lead and scale a specific portfolio of accounts. This executive leadership role carries full P&L ownership including accountability for revenue, strategic growth initiatives, and margin performance. The Portfolio Lead will drive client engagement strategies, lead opportunity origination efforts, and ensure consistent delivery excellence across a matrixed consulting team.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in analytics, data, and business consulting, strong C-suite relationship capabilities, and the ability to lead go-to-market efforts in a fast-evolving data and AI landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

P&L Ownership & Strategic Growth

  • Fully accountable for portfolio-level P&L, including top-line revenue, organic growth, and targeted margin delivery
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for assigned portfolio accounts, aligned with Cleartelligence’s firm-wide goals

Client Development & Relationship Expansion

  • Drive opportunity origination across both new and existing clients by leveraging your own network and existing firm channels. Actively lead client pursuits and proposals in collaboration with practice leads and marketing teams
  • Build deep, trust-based relationships with C-suite and executive stakeholders across the private equity and mid-market ecosystem
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and in strategic partnerships

AI & Innovation Advisory

  • Possess a working knowledge of AI/ML technologies and market trends, with the ability to advise clients on pragmatic, business-aligned AI investments
  • Translate emerging AI capabilities into business value narratives that resonate with executive audiences

Team Leadership & Engagement Oversight

  • Provide executive sponsorship and strategic guidance across active engagements
  • Collaborate with Principal Consultants and delivery teams to align execution with client vision and value realization. Promote best-in-class delivery methodologies and service standardization across portfolio accounts
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, performance, and innovation. Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of consulting and account management talent

What we are looking for:

  • 15+ years of consulting and data strategy experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership or P&L-owning role
  • Demonstrated success growing client portfolios in the Technology, Manufacturing, Media, Financial Services, Private Equity or Mid-Market sector
  • Executive-level experience in account strategy, sales, and client delivery leadership
  • Knowledge of the modern data and AI landscape, including the ability to position and sell AI-driven services and solutions
  • Experience with data engineering principles and technologies, including data integration, data warehousing, and ETL processes working with platforms like Snowflake and DataBricks
  • Strong communication, executive presence, and stakeholder influence skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

General Manager – India

The role: General Manager – India will be the senior-most executive in our India subsidiary, responsible for building and scaling a world-class organization that supports global client delivery. This leader will drive compliance, efficiency, and operational excellence while ensuring India has the talent, infrastructure, and culture needed to deliver quality at scale and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery & Quality Support –  20%

  • Ensure seamless client delivery from India by ensuring that resources, infrastructure, and processes are in place to meet project requirements.
  • Partner with global delivery and practice leaders to ensure India operations directly support service quality, responsiveness, and SLA adherence.
  • Take ownership for resolving escalations, ensuring issues are addressed quickly and transparently.
  • Champion a culture of quality, ownership and accountability in project execution developing a strong consulting mindset across the India teams.

Scalable Hiring & People Leadership – 20%

  • Build a scalable talent engine in India, capable of supporting rapid headcount growth without loss of quality or compliance.
  • Oversee recruitment, workforce planning, and capability development aligned with global project needs.
  • Develop and retain strong local leadership across HR, Finance, IT, Facilities, and Delivery Operations.
  • Foster a high-performance, client-focused culture that motivates employees and reduces attrition.
  • Proven ability to build and scale an organization. We are a small team today with plans to grow.

Financial Stewardship – 20%

  • Manage the India cost center, with close control over budgets, payroll, and vendor obligations.
  • Ensure transparent, timely, and accurate reporting to global finance and the US parent leadership team.
  • Balance cost optimization with investment in quality and scalability.

Operational & Strategic Leadership – 15%

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the India entity while aligning with global strategic goals.
  • Establish operational KPIs for cost, efficiency, utilization, and delivery readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability and reduce bottlenecks in client support.
  • Provide strong governance and risk management to safeguard client delivery continuity.
  • Insights into PMO would be an added advantage.
  • Develop and implement operations policies, standards (including ISO), and procedures.

Compliance & Governance – 15%

  • Ensure complete compliance with Indian corporate, tax, and labor laws (Companies Act, GST, PF etc.).
  • Maintain effective relationships with auditors, regulators, and statutory authorities.
  • Put in place robust internal controls that protect both the India entity and global clients from compliance risks.

Infrastructure & Systems – 10%

  • Oversee office facilities, IT infrastructure, procurement processes, and vendor contracts, ensuring they scale in line with business growth.
  • Implement systems that enhance delivery visibility, reporting, and collaboration with global teams.
  • Ensure business continuity plans are tested and reliable.

What We Are Looking For: 

We are seeking a seasoned leader with a passion for analytics, solution architecture, data enablement, and client engagement. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: 15+ years in operations, consulting, and delivery management, including at least 5 years in senior leadership within India. Must have experience of scaling teams and infrastructure in support of client delivery.

Tech Lead, Data Management - India

Cleartelligence is a data, analytics, and AI consultancy focused on helping enterprise and private equity clients envision, design, and implement solutions that solve complex business problems and accelerate value creation through data-driven insights.

We are seeking a Tech Lead – Data Management who will be responsible for providing technical leadership, solution oversight, and day-to-day coordination for a dedicated client pod consisting of India-based engineers and consultants. This role requires strong expertise in Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and modern data engineering practices, along with the ability to guide teams in implementing high-quality, scalable, cloud-based data solutions.

Unlike a formal people-management role, this position focuses on delivery excellence and client alignment rather than career development responsibilities. The Technical Lead will serve as the single point of contact for all India resources supporting the client, ensuring that technical execution, communication, and work quality remain consistent and aligned with client expectations. They will work closely with US-based architects, project managers, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical tasks and ensure timely, high-impact delivery.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with strong communication and coordination skills—able to mentor resources on best practices, oversee solution design and implementation, and ensure smooth collaboration across geographies without formal people-management duties.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Project Leadership:

  • Act as the single point of coordination for India-based resources supporting a specific US client.
  • Partner closely with US-based project managers, architects, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment of workstreams and expectations.
  • Support requirement clarification, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ongoing technical discussions with the client team.
  • Provide visibility into India pod progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure seamless communication and handoff across time zones

Technical Leadership & Solution Execution:

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of Snowflake-based data solutions.
  • Oversee ELT development using dbt and ingestion pipelines using Fivetran or similar tools.
  • Guide team members on data modeling, performance tuning, SQL best practices, and cloud data platform patterns.
  • Conduct technical reviews of queries, dbt models, pipelines, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure rapid resolution of delivery blockers.
  • Implement and enforce data security, governance, and compliance standards across the client environment.

Delivery Oversight & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure India pod deliverables meet quality standards, established frameworks, and client acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor adherence to best practices in data engineering, data governance, and architectural guidelines.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, deployment activities, and release support for pipelines and transformations.
  • Establish and maintain technical operating procedures, coding standards, and documentation requirements.

Team Coordination & Mentorship (Without People Management):

  • Provide technical mentorship, pairing, and coaching to engineers and analysts within the India client pod.
  • Support knowledge transfer and promote consistent delivery practices across the team.
  • Help resolve day-to-day questions, unblock technical issues, and guide junior team members on best practices.
  • Maintain a collaborative, supportive environment without formal HR responsibilities.
