For nearly a decade, Cleartelligence has been proud to host CHART CHAMP, the gathering for data analytics leaders, practitioners, and partners.
This year’s event is set to be our biggest yet. With the recent addition of Bardess Group, the Cleartelligence team has grown significantly and represents leading brands across all industries and functions.
From networking with peers to hearing expert leaders share best practices to the data visualization competition, you will not want to miss out on the data & analytics event of the season.
About Chart Champ
Chart Champ is Cleartelligence’s annual signature event, bringing together leaders and practitioners across the data analytics community to connect, learn, and grow. Since its inception, more than 3,000 IT and analytics leaders, analysts, developers, and data engineers have attended Chart Champ.
The highlight of the event is a live dashboard competition, where experts come together to showcase their best efforts to win over a panel of judges to be crowned this year’s Chart Champ.
Over the years, Chart Champ has grown into much more than a data visualization event – attendees hear from expert leaders and analysts and participate in data strategy sessions spanning the full spectrum of end-to-end analytics.
Whether you’re an expert building a Center of Excellence, a leader evangelizing data strategy, an analyst building amazing visualizations, or a data engineer doing ELT/ETL and cloud warehousing, Chart Champ has something for you.

Join us in the Optum Lounge at Gillette Stadium for lunch, drinks, and an opportunity to network with some of the region’s top data leaders, analysts, engineers, and analytics strategists.
From the boardroom to the front lines, hear how data leaders are responding to AI pressures, adopting modern analytics tech, transforming their organization’s data culture, and driving business outcomes. Learn from their stories, engage in Q&A, and get guidance on your implementation strategy.
Later, the top five submissions will battle it out in person for our audience. Finalists will demo their dashboard live, showing their unique talents for Tableau, Qlik, and PowerBI development, presenting data, and storytelling.

Join us at Gillette Stadium’s Optum Lounge for a casual networking lunch with the region’s top data executives, analysts, engineers, and analytics strategists.
1pm Executive Strategy Sessions
Tales from the boardroom to the front lines – learn how data leaders are addressing AI expectations, adopting modern analytics tech, transforming their organization’s data culture, and driving business outcomes.
Our strategy sessions will offer a play-by-play covering the full spectrum of end-to-end analytics. We will also have multiple Data and Analytics experts in the field who will speak about building better forecasts and transforming data through machine learning and AI.

The top submissions battle it out live for our audience! Finalists will demo their dashboard live, showing their unique talent for Tableau development, presenting data, and storytelling.

Attendees are invited to enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and their friends and colleagues from the New England data and analytics community. Whether you’re networking with your peers or scouting your next breakout analyst, we always have a good time at Chart Champ.
Do you have what it takes to be crowned Chart Champ 2024?
Contest Overview:
We asked competitors to submit a 1-page Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik dashboard to our FTP share by EOD October 11, 2024 (in .twbx, .pbix, or .qvf format shared via file share or email attachment) . The dashboard’s theme is “Sports” generally and the competitor’s direction/use case/dataset is up to them (though here were some suggestions) — Pro Football Reference, Baseball Savant, NFL Savant, CFBStats, baseballr, cfbscrapR, nflscrapR, Olympics data.
Judging Criteria:
- Design (25%) – Visually stunning dashboards engage audiences
- Functionality (25%) – Usability is key when delivering insights
- Storytelling / Usability (50%) – The dashboard should tell a story and allow users to dive into the data!
Eligibility and Rules:
- Must be 18+
- No teams
- Can not work for Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft, or Cleartelligence
- One dashboard per contestant.
- Dashboards must be one page only.
- Workbooks must be submitted via file share or email attachment (tableau public is ok as well if downloads are turned on)
Finalists:
Finalists have been chosen and will prepare a 5-minute presentation for the event highlighting their dashboard (think audience, purpose, etc.). Presentations are IN PERSON at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough MA.
